Scotiabank marathon Toronto: My first marathon!  Ran it with my best friend...a slow time, but a lot of fun! 4:54

1/2 Marathon Jazz festival Beaches run: 2:04

Short-Term Running Goals:

Injured my knee in June (3 months ago)....want to run more than 4km without feeling like my knee will fall apart.  Hoping to run the Ottawa marathon in May (8 months from now) pain free.  Want to run Scotiabank marathon in September and get a 4:00 time.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Want to qualify for the Boston Marathon and run it someday!

 

Personal:

I am a phys. ed. and music teacher and I coach a lot of team sports at my school.  I love to run - it clears my head and grounds me.  When I don't run I get down and feel anxious.  I have a serious addiction to ice cream and sweets...trying to get that under control!
